Kassi Tiedjens
Kassi Tiedjens is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and began her dance education at the age of 4 with the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy. Kassi danced with the Milwaukee Ballet School for 14 years and had the privilege of dancing in company productions of Michael Pink’s The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. During her academic career, Kassi attended the performing arts high school Pius XI where she performed soloist roles in ballets such as Paquita, Pharoah’s Daughter, Coppelia, and Swan Lake. Recently, Kassi graduated cum laude from Butler University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Psychology. At Butler, Kassi danced in corps de ballet, demi-soloist, and soloist roles in large-scale productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Midwinter Dances, as well as student-made choreographic works. During her time with Confluence, Kassi has had the privilege of performing the role of Marzipan in The Nutcracker Sweet. When Kassi is not dancing, she enjoys practicing yoga, baking, and snowboarding.
