Resident Composer

Confluence Ballet Co is thrilled to have Joshua Malavé as Director of Confluence Ballet Ensemble and our Resident Composer. He created a 30-minute ballet, “The Crane,” written for the Elise Flagg Academy of Dance, a short piece for Vox Novus’ 60×60 performed in NYC as part of Fifteen Minutes of Fame.

Josh composed our full-length ballet, “The Onion,” which we performed with live accompaniment from The Confluence Ballet Ensemble to sold out shows at Attack Theatre, Inc. in May 2024.
