Juliana Witiuk

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Juliana Witiuk started her dance education at the age of seven under the guidance of Patricia Dickenson-Wells at Dance Theatre Southwest. At sixteen, she joined Festival Ballet Albuquerque as a company artist where she performed roles such as Dew Drop Fairy, and other roles in The Nutcracker in the Land of Enchantment. She was the female lead in the production of Billy the Kid, along with soloist roles in Blue Jean Blues and Giselle. She performed other soloist roles in the production Sacred Journeys by choreographers Jock Soto, Alex Ossadnik, and Dominic Guerra.

Juliana was invited to join the Saint Louis Ballet's Professional Training Program where she had the pleasure of performing alongside company members of the Saint Louis Ballet in productions including Gen Horiuchi’s The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Western Symphony and Who Cares?, as well as other works choreographed by Mr. Horiuchi, and original works choreographed by Saint Louis Ballet’s artistic faculty, Christine Settembrino and Ci Ci Houston-Sudholt.

Juliana has been a dedicated dance educator for the past seven years where she shares her passion and love of classical ballet to students of all ages. Her experience includes group and private instruction, in addition to being the children’s cast rehearsal director for various productions.

Outside of ballet, Juliana is also a trained singer and enjoys studying opera and musical theatre. Her independent study gave her the opportunity to tour Italy singing in a choir festival and performing in numerous cathedrals, concluding at the Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City.
