Ainsley Dunning

Ainsley Dunning is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and visual artist. She holds a BFA in Dance from Mercyhurst University with minors in Graphic Design and Arts Administration. Ainsley has performed featured roles in classical and contemporary ballets, including Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Swanhilda in Coppeliá. She previously performed modern repertoire and contemporary partnering as a company member with SoMar Dance Works. Ainsley has also worked in arts administration and student life at the American Dance Festival, Ballet West, Orlando Ballet, and the American College Dance Association. As a multidisciplinary artist, Ainsley performs freelance graphic design for dance organizations across the country. She enjoys combining dance with her passions for visual art, communication, and arts access. This is her first season with Confluence Ballet Co.
